Free Target GC = Disney GC??

I seem to have collected several of those free Target gift cards from the weekly ad specials and now have over $100 bucks worth. Our Target sells Disney GC - has anyone ever tried to buy the Disney GC with the free Target ones?

Yes! I just did this last week at our Target with no problems.

FANTASTIC! Between those, my disney Visa Rewards, and random cash stash I have we have enough to cover all our meals for our trip this month! Looks like one of those new Disney Vera's will have my name on it with this money saved!

We had about $40 worth of free Target gift cards that we combined with our Red Card savings to get Disney gift cards

Yep, did it a couple of days ago with no problems. Even the cashier was surprised it worked.

We loved doing that! Adding the gift cards to the red card discount, I felt so proud.

Have not did this but it is definitely something I will check into. Good way to save for Disney. Our local Disney store closed years ago. I used to go there and buy Disney dollars to use on our upcoming trips. They still sell Disney giftcards at Walgreens as well.

If you have a Red Card with Target (which is free with a checking acct #), you also get a discount on the Disney Store gift card purchase.

So if you save up the bounce back Target gift cards (which they have at least one special a week), you can apply those gift cards along with the Red Card discount to a purchase of a Disney gift card.

FYI - Walgreens won't let you use points to purchase gift cards.

I really wish I used the Red Card, but because we fly so much and like our Disney Rewards a lot, our Southwest and Disney Visa are what we use daily and pay off weekly. Haven't paid for a flight in a couple years!

I figured if they wouldn't let me use the gc to buy the Disney ones (or iTunes gc when they're on sale is another great use) I would just use them for my next purchase and put that cash saved toward Disney gc.

For the pp - every week Target has specials like here this week they had this:

Buy two venus or gillette razors and get $5 target gc. I used two $4 off coupons for them so I paid out $14 after those and then still got the $5 card. Love it when they have the big baby sales incorporating gc! It's a huge benefit when you have coupons to pile on top (manufacturer & Target ones can build even more savings!)
