What other kind of items similar to the Jungle Cruise Map are available at DLR, if any?

What is the Jungle Cruise map? I have never heard of that before. Thanks for telling us about it Kiotzu and thank you for the freebie link, AladdinRapunzelTink. I will check that out in a few :)

It's a cool map printed out on parchment style paper of the JC area. You can ask one of the cast members as you get off the boat for a copy. Do make sure you specify "Jungle Cruise" map! One time the cast member thought we meant just a DL park map (which was also thoughtful and she quickly got us the JC map when she realized what we were requesting).

DisneyTouristBlog just did a great artice about DLR freebies: http://www.disneytouristblog.com/disneyland-free-stuff-tips/#nofollow/17/

I just read that! That is what inspired the thread because he didn't mention the JC map, so I was wondering if there were anything that DLR regulars might know about that he doesn't.

I haven't ever got one, just read about it, been to long since I have been at the happiest place on earth but that is changing in October!

I like the Jungle Cruise Map, but it's worth noting that they do run out at times, so don't wait until your last day to ask for one.

Thank you all for the Jungle Cruise map info! I truly had never heard of such a thing. I will ask next time I'm at DL. Is there a Jingle Cruise version? If there is a Jingle Cruise this year?

That would be cute if they had one, but I got the regular Jungle Cruise map last year during mid-November. The basic ride locations don't change for the Jingle Cruise version, so the map would still be "accurate".

Hey, that's me! I actually left off the Jungle Cruise map intentionally, as the last couple of times I've been with people who have requested it, the CMs didn't have any (one seemed totally clueless about the concept).

I'm not sure if they've totally stopped doing it or if it's just hit or miss at this point; I'll be back Friday and will check again if I remember. :)

I still have not gotten over the fact that I completely missed out on getting the 'blink-and-you'll-miss-it' free Jingle Cruise mini-poster in 2013! It was only handed out (near the ride) for a short time, and a lot of people missed out on it. Shortly thereafter it was being sold for crazy prices on ebay.

Tom -- That's a great list you put together on your website (I'm on your email list and I think I saw a reference to that blog come through, but had not yet read it).

I admit to being a paper goods hoarder -- I love the Buena Vista Street Bugle and I love going to the Walt Disney Travel Company office in Downtown Disney and picking up their yearly paperback books on DLR, WDW and DCL.

I also love a Ghirardelli sample -- especially the seasonal flavors!

Thanks, I will make sure to snag one on my first day in the parks!

Oh, well it's a pleasure! I actually found your blog early in my planning stages for DLR and has been on of my primary resources other than the DIS! Great blog and it makes more excited every time I read your blog!

Wow that would have been an awesome piece of Disneyana!

As a fellow hoarder of paper goods I will be stopping at any place I can find something!

I love your Figment collection! Figments are a very good thing to collect! :)

WiFi is also free in places...

- Starbucks in DTD
- Earl of Sandwich
- ESPN SportsZone, though it mainly feeds off DLH Wifi.
- DLR Hotels - Recommend one of the public areas at DLH. DGC kinda spotty at times and location.
- * Recommend Lounge at Steakhouse 55 for business travellers, good coverage and can generally sit there anytime even when not open. No purchase required. Disney Coffee Shop right there and Goofy Breakfast is there too.
