Free strollers for Visa Card holders??

Subbing!;)

Also, if anyone has flown recently with their stroller, could you report on what airline rules were for the stroller: is it luggage?

Thanks in advance!:flower3:

I got a survey a few weeks ago and one of the questions was about the perks and something about stroller rentals. I put in the comment section that it would be nice if they made the same offers for DW and DL (meaning the strollers) maybe everyone else that filled out the survey did too.

We are flying in Sept, with 2 strollers and 2 carseats. I e-mailed NWA and asked about this. They said you can check your car seats and take the strollers to the gate and gate check them. There was no charge. I saved the e-mail just in case I have to show it to the check-in people.

I have left my two stroller at the entrance to the plane and then we wait there when we land and they are brought to us.
No charge or anything

If you're going to fly w/ a stroller, I would suggest checking it with your other luggage. The airlines will still gate check, but the problem I saw when we flew last week was this: because of the new baggage checking fees & restrictions, eveyrone was trying to carry-on bags that should have been checked. Because of this, boarding was a pain because all those folks had to gate check their nags, and the line to pick up the bags outside the plane at the other end was unreal! I mean, there had to have been 40 people blocking that narrow walkway trying to claim their bags. If you can make it through the airport without one, checking is the way to go IMO. This works for me because DD & I share a suitcase so the stoller counts as her checked bag. Be sure to put it in a protective bag no matter where you check it!

:thumbsup2

We always fly Southwest...They do not count it as luggage...You bring it up to the airplane and they put it in storage with wheelchairs.

This would be great!! We're going in Jan. and our girls are older but I know they will complain that they are tired. My fingers are crossed!!

I just called the 800 number for the rewards card and was told that it was not added for DW, that it is still just for DL...keeping our fingers crossed though!

You can buy stroller bags and carseat bags through Walmart, Target, and TRU. We have several carseat bags that we use.

Thanks.....I just checked and they don't have big enough. We aren't to the umbrella stroller stage yet. Oh well! :goodvibes

How do you find out.. can you call chase/disney visa or call disney directly?

The benefits are listed on the chase.com/disney website after you login. You can look up what is available to you as benefits of being a card holder. Also, you can call one of their reps and ask. BUT...good luck with that last part.

Since this is not confirmed, and just speculation from a non-Disney employee, I'm going to move this over to the Rumors board for the time being.

I'm still hanging on HOPING that this offer will come through for all of us. BUT if it doesn't materialize and anyone here is looking for an inexpensive way to use a stroller at Disney World check out this thread for our double stroller swap. http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1850133 It is a double stroller that is a sit and stand and would work well for 1 child or 2 children. It wouldn't work for 2 infants though. There are still some open dates!
