Free Sonic Floats

We just recently got a Sonic in the area. DP just saw the commercial and called me jumping up and down.

Thought I would share his excitement.

Yep -- we've got big plans tonight...DD is going to practice parallel parking (she takes her driving test in a week!) and then we're off to Sonic!

are you talking about the one in clinton township - that looks like it would take forever and a day for me to drive to when i'm in detroit....way over in macomb county....you think i need a passport?

ok - just checked the directions....east on big beaver and drive and drive and drive.....to metro prkwy....then michigan left turn onto groesbeck......not too bad.....i've at least heard of that road....
i wonder if it's near metro beach....i used to go there back in high school....(for international folkdancing, of all things)...or was that kensington i went to.....who knows....far away in one direction or the other.....but i digress...

so what's so great about sonic? i've never heard of it...

Actually we never made it over there...DD practiced for about an hour and then we decided it would probably be too crowded at Sonic (similar to the great Oprah Free KFC fiasco!).

I like Chick-fil-A. Hopefully we'll get one of those soon.

So we went to get the free floats, its across the street from where I work and they wernt that great... I gess for free they were good but I wouldnt buy them now..

Then I don't feel so bad about missing out if my DIS peeps weren't there. And I'm still waiting for my free chicken from Oprah coupons to come in the mail! Fiasco is right!
