I knew that would get your attention. Let's start a list of all the snacks that are included in the Free Dining Plan....

Fruit
Single Serve Popcorn
Mickey Bar

Please add as many as you know... I am interested in coffee?? Anyone....

I bet some of you are wondering about those Turkey Legs?!?!?! :hyper:

I would like to see a list as we are leaving in 32 days(not that we are counting or anything... :rotfl2: ) and we are on the food plan.

Thanks

Here here! I too think this would be really helpful.

For example: does a honey bun at Roaring forks count as a snack?

We are leaving in 32 days also....no counting here either :bounce:

This is from allears.net:

--One snack (snack-cart ice cream, popcorn, non-alcoholic beverage, apple juice, single piece of fruit, or single bag of Frito-Lay's chips)

Can anyone who has just visited tell us if they were able to get anything else? I really want to know about the coffee before I have to go in 47 days. Its not like I am counting or anything. :goodvibes

The options for snacks are much better at the hotels than in the parks. I was able to get coffee as a snack as well as a Mickey crispy for anopther snack at the food court but i was told the coffee was not a snack option at the Mian street Bakery in MK

My son and I used the plan last April. The only snacks we could get in the parks were the ones listed above. However, we were able to get cake, and fruit bowls at Pop Century.

At the All Star Movies we were able to get the Mickey rice crispie treats, fruit bowls, anything from their bakery, brownies, sweet rolls, things like that. In the parks all we got was ice cream and pop.

In June, we got snacks (frozen bananas, other ice cream bars, and drinks) at the parks. At the ASMo, they had a little area set up with bags of chips, fruit, and rice crispy treats. We tried to use our plan on an ice cream cone but we were told that wasn't a "snack." The CM directed us the the "snack" display. :confused3

AKL we got rice crispie treats and a cookie (in addition to the chips, etc). They had a list for the CMs at the till. We were told we couldn't get apple juice and we took the list down to them that confirmed we could. After being told it was only at certain food courts you could get apple juice they must have changed their minds and it was available!! :confused3

the best place to get the info would be at www.mousesavers.com

just some basics... the free dining plan is being offered to those checking in from 8/21 thru 10/4... you must stay at a disney resort, and purchase a "package" which includes resort stay, park tickets and dining... there are no discounts available w/these packages (full rack rate on rooms)... stay must be 3 nights or more...

hope that helps! :)

Thank you so much for such a quick reply. I guess as a DVC member, it wouldn't apply. Oh well......it was worth looking into at least. Thanks again. :sunny:

We didn't use that many snacks while we were there. When we left
I told my DH that I had 21 snacks still left over.

Went to CS at POP got 7 cokes, 7 mickey mouse rice krispy things,
and 7 (assorted) bags of chips, and I still have some chips left.

Just the total on those items came to almost $30.

I do not think we will have any trouble using our snack credits. Just the waters will be great.
