Free rootbeer float at Sonic on Wednesday 8pm-midnight. I saw it advertised on TV in Minnesota, don't know for sure about other states.

DD and I were planning on dinner after her softball game tomorrow so I think this will be our stop on the way home.

I just called my local one, here in NE, they are participating, but warned it can be kind of a mad house. Says they will be coming out with trays and just take as many as you need for your family! Tomorrow is our last day of school here, so this will be a great way of celebrating!

They have done this every year for a while now here in OK....and let me tell you it's a mad house. The wait can be long and it's the child size float that you get for free.

Just wanted to let everyone know that it can be a mess. I work at sonic and it's crazy. If you aren't pleased with your float or don't want to wait you can get a rain check card that lets you come back anytime before the 19th and get one for free. Our sonic (and they are all supposed to be) is also giving out coupons for a 99 cent cream slush! Hope you all enjoy!

DH and DS just went down the street to our Sonic. They said that it was crowded but they got their two free floats and only waited maybe, 15 minutes or so.

I went over an hour ago and waited less than 5 minutes. The line looked like you would be waiting awhile but they moved cars fast.
