What are some websites for free ringtones? Safe ones please.

Phonezoo.com the best really free site

have fun

Right now the JCPenney Gifts website has two free holiday ringtones... Deck The Halls and also All That I Want by The Weepies.

Goto www.jcpgifts.com
Click on the CHRISTMAS EXTRAS tag
Click on FREE DOWNLOADS tag
Then on the dropdown off that tag click RINGTONES

Have telemakers calls from this website by putting your cell number online. The is only thing stopping me from putting ringtiones on my phone from this site.

Are you asking about the JCPenney site? I did it over two weeks ago and haven't had one telemarketer call yet... I don't think JCPenney would use the data from their free ringtone site to solicit potential customers.... they're too big a company to do something that dumb...

Nope--we've gotten phonezoo ringtones for all 3 cells and have had no telemarketing calls at all. I downloaded the 1st time back in Aug/Sep and then again a few weeks ago. No problems with it at all.

Thanks for the reassurance! I just signed for free ringtones before I read about the telemarketers.

I feel better after seeing your post.

OK, I got the ones off JCPENNY, but it sent a txt to my phone and says "click here" with a link to download...How do I do that? :confused3

My cell phone is my work issued BlackBerry and I am able to click on the link and it automatically opens my phone's web browser and downloads the song. I haven't had a regular cell phone (non-Blackberry) in so many years, I couldn't tell you how to do it.... maybe you can copy the website link and then paste it into your phone's web browser if you can't click the hyperlink from the text message?

Nope, no way to copy the link. Anyone else have a regular old cell phone get these to work? I have a Motorola Krazer on Verizon...

when you open the text mssg, hit your menu button and scroll down to GO TO and click that, that should open your internet browser and take you to the link.

My menu button is REPLY...If I go to options I get the following options...
Relpy
Reply w Copy
Forward
Lock
Add to Contacts
Message Info

:confused3

Sorry I cant help more. I have the Motorola Razor and that is the way it worked for me. Maybe some one with the Krazer will see this thread and help out.
