Free Pins with Batteries

I just found Energizer Max batteries at our local Meijer (like Target) store that have the Happiest Celebration on Earth pins included in the package. They are priced just like all the other batteries and each package contains a free pin.

We go through so many AA batteries that I just stocked up while they were on sale. They were $3.47 for a package of 8 batteries. I think by looking at them, these pins are tradeable. Does anybody know for sure?

The Energizer website has info. about the pins and it is a direct link to Disney's Official Pin Trading website. I think they would definitely be traders. Here's the link:

Mr Grump emailed energizer and here is what they said:

Thank you for contacting Energizer and also for your inquiry.

Unfortunately, we do not know exactly how many are being distributed to
stores, nor how many different pins there are. They are only going to be
available in the US. They should be in stores by May 1st and mostly
located at KB Toys, Walgreen's, Best Buy, and K-Mart.

I checked Target on the way home (should have read Grumpy's Gal's post above first) and they didn't have any.

Sorry I've been away for a couple days. The pins are able to be seen right in the front of the package. There are 5 different pins. There is definitely no mark-up, since the packages without the pins are the same price.

My DD's and I went back to get more so they could each trade some when we go this summer.

I saw these the other day (at our Meijer). The free pins are only in the 8 pack of AA batteries, no other size. They are NOT with the regular batteries, but on one of those cardboard "shipper' displays that are usually sitting in a main aisle, or near the checkouts.
There are 5 different pins, and they all have a banner across them that says Happiest Celebration on Earth, and then on the 2nd line , 2 pins say Disneyland, 2 that say Disneyworld, and 1 thay says Disney Parks and Resorts. They say on the back 'made for Energizer by Disney Parks and Resorts,' with the 'disney' and made in china on them. They also have the 'pintrading' symbol and say pin trading 2005 Just like the 'other' tradeable pins.
Our Meijer has them on sale for $3.97 a package.

Thanks for posting the stores that carry these. We were going to the grocery store next door to a Kmart today and remembering your post, I checked there. After a bit of searching, I was able to find all 5 pins. The batteries were on sale for $4.50 per package. They still had a few left, but not many of some of the styles.

They are in the Walgreens ad that starts tomorrow - ours starts today as we don't have a Sunday paper. They are 3.99 for an 8 pack and they are on the regular battery display...have been to probably 6 Walgreens between my friend and I today!

I'm in south carolina - anyone around found any? I called best buy and they didnt know what I was talking about but say they DEFINITELY dont have it. Would have went to look anyway but I was too tired and I checked Kb toys and they hadnt heard of them yet.

I found mine today at Meijer and bought all five pins for DH's pin collection.

DS is green with envy, but it cost me $25 for these 5, I couldn't justify $50 for pins today. I know the batteries are worth it, but who needs 80 batteries?
