Free pin if your first visit??

i think i read somewhere months ago, that if its your first ever visit to DLP, you get a free pin. Is this true? if so , where would we be able to collect them?

The shops sell starter pin sets with lanyards, but never heard of free pins.

Hi I've also never heard of free pins on your first visit, the only pins I know of that are "gifts" are when you have completed a backstage tour in the Studios and the Disneyland Park. I'm yet to do one, but have it planned next year as we are going all out

What you might of heard about is if you go to any parks guest services, usually right when you walk in the park. Tell them it's your first time, birthday, or anniversary they will give a free button but not a pin. We put our daughters button(birthday button) on the bottom of her lanyard and it looks god there. You can also get buttons at the front desk of any Disney resort hotel. I hope that clears it up for you.

You just get a birthday sticker now rather than a pin, we were hoping it would be more of a badge / pin too.
