Free parking

we are checking in this Wednesday. We are staying at a value resort. We do not live far away but will be waking up very early to try and make opening to animal kingdom. When entering parking area for animal kingdom, do I get free parking that day even though my check in is not until later in the day? I know I get free parking at resort but not sure how it works if I am not technically staying st the resort yet. My magic band is linked to the reservation.

Yes. You get free parking at the parks beginning on your check-in day, even if you have not yet checked in. The cast members at the gate will just need to scan your magic band.

You only receive free parking at the resort if you made your reservation before March 21st of this year.
