Free parking

It has been 5 years since our last WDW visit. We might be renting a car and was wondering if parking at the parks is still free for WDW hotel guests.

Yes, as a guest staying at one of the Disney hotels you'll get free parking at the parks. When you check-in let them know you have a car and they'll give you a parking permit (it will have your name, the resort you're staying at, and your check-out date). When you go through the entrance to the parking lots at each of the park, show the CM the parking permit and they'll wave you through. I always leave the permit on the dash, and the CM have always just looked at it through the glass and waved us through.
