Free parking still after 6pm?

Was thinking about going to Universal instead of Disney tonight after work. Is it still only free parking after 6pm when UO closes at 7pm and IOA at 8pm? You'd only have like.. 30 minutes or 90 minutes of park time by the time you park and get in
