Free parking in lots if staying at Royal Plaza

We will be taking our car back and forth to the parks each day. We want the ease of coming and going during the day with the heat and such. Do hotels at Downtown Disney have the perk of free parking in the lots or not? If not this will affect our coming and going. Thanks... We will be staying for a week at the Royal Plaza!!.

It is not free unless you have an AP.

$6.00 per day. Remember to keep your receipt in the event you visit another park that same day; fee is waived provided you can show the receipt.

If you have an Annual Pass or Premium Annual Pass, there is no charge for parking in the theme park lots.

Thanks to all who responded so quick. I will probably try the shuttle for AK one day and see how that goes. Otherwise it looks like we will pull aside 5 days at $6.00 worth of parking. If it means getting in and out and saving time it's well worth it for us.
