Free Parking at Renaissance Seaworld?

I know it seems like a silly question, but I was wondering if the free parking offer for Hybrids at the Renaissance Seaworld is ONLY for valet parking or is it also free to Self Park?

Has anyone Self Parked for free with their Hybrid car?

Thanks. I know this question seems really silly, but I just want to be sure. We don't really use valet parking so I'm hoping that we can get the free self parking.

I only know for the Hotel next to the Renaissance...
There is free parking.
I was on the lot of the R. and did not see anything agains free parking...

When we called about reservations, they explained their parking charges as $15 per day for on-site parking and $18 per day for valet parking. For hybrid vehicles they offer complimentary valet parking only. How firm they are on that is unclear. I'm guessing it may be a space availability issue.
