Free Parking at Parks?

Do those staying in DVC get free parking at WDW parks if we choose to drive there rather than use Disney transportation? I've seen conflicting answers on this one, so wanted to put this out there!

I did in early Jan. I believe you must have your parking pass from the resort visible in your windshield. HTH

Free parking at the theme parks is a benefit of staying at a WDW Resort. The DVC Resorts ARE WDW Resorts. Your Resort parking pass will get your free parking at the theme parks.

Obviously I knew that DVC resorts are WDW resorts, but I am renting points and didn't know this was a perk to staying onsite. Thanks for your help!
