Free parking and check-in?

If we have a 3 pm check-in at one of the Disney resorts, can we take our MBs and visit one of the parks in the morning and get free parking for that day, or does free parking at the parks only apply once you've actually checked into your room the first day?

You need to check in and get a parking pass. Check in anytime after 6a and get the pass first.

Just stop by your hotel and check in....they'll hold on to your luggage if you want (or you can leave it in your car, your choice). They'll give you the free parking pass to show at the gate and you're off to the parks. If you leave a cell phone # they'll call you when your room is ready and your magic band should get you into the room when you want.
