Thanks for posting that kizzabel.

The way that reads (ie per adult per night for a minimum of 3 nights and on full occupancy in the rooms) that would be a cheapest price of 534 euros for the booking, with free meals, yes? This would be 712 euros for 4 nights/5 days.

Just for comparison (as I can't get on to price up a booking for exactly the same trip on the Disney site at the mo) - the 40% off deal for 2 adults and 2 kids could be as little as around £360 for 4 nights/5 days.

I know the free meals is a great deal for lots of folk, as the table service prices especially can really make a dent in your spends :). I guess, again, its all about crunching those numbers. If you have shareholders/AP discount on your meals, its worth factoring your discounts in too, when looking at the different packages.

Ahhhh i was just about to get really angry with myself for not waiting for this offer.....then i noticed it can;t be used the week we're there anyway.....phew :goodvibes

the difference for us is a saving of exactly €50 each and the lunch vouchers aswel but in essense what matters in the end is we're going to disneyland!! we wont be on as tight of a budget this time so its ok! a shame but still ok!

Its interesting that a non-Disney company is offering the free meals - as the vouchers are printed off at your hotel for the meals. So is this offer in advance of a Disney one for the same deal then do we think?

Almost certainly. Disney release details of their offers to the travel agents well in advance so that they can get their publications ready.

It'll be interesting to see what expedia do with room only rates!

on that note is there room only rates for DLH, HNY, NPB and SL?? and whos best? expedia seems to be popular

There is normally. I've only ever checked through Expedia.

Last year Expedia advertised free meals on the room only rates but I believe that a lot of forum members had problems getting their vouchers when they arrived. I can't remember what the conclusion was.

I'm planning a trip for late march so will definitely be keeping an eye on it.

Am i doing something wrong?

Right for my dates 6th jan 4 nights on the DLP website total cost for 2 adults and 2 children under 7 £348 that's with the 40% off.

On the above website when i put in them dates it tells me on the tick bit that the free dining is available plus the nights free.
So select the same dates 2 adults 2 children gives me a total cost of 553 euros.
Go all the way through to the booking page but don't book and the bit where it says view booking it gives all the correct details but nowhere does it mention the free meals :confused3 Just gives a breakdown of how many adult, children and says park tickets are included.

thanks for your help, i also remember the trouble that a few members had. it `was drawn out for a long while before people got sorted but i cant remember the outcome either!

Be very careful if Expedia offer room only including free meals - they did this last year and it was very difficult getting Expedia to honour it (they realised after they'd advertised it that the free meals should only have been offered with packages, not room only). Been there, done that, got the t-shirt (and the free meals eventually, with a lot of arguing :confused3).

Yes i remember that well Elaine, caused many people such a headache.

i have their phone number if you'd like poppie, its 0035316079900
elaine is the person that deals with the disney bookings. if you go to the page where you select your hotel scroll over thr grid for your dates and it lists what offers are availible for those dates.

just looked at expedia.... my application for SH is being sent today :rolleyes1
who needs sun holidays.. i'll just buy an AP aswel and bobs my uncle!!

I'm looking all over this website and don't see free dining mentioned. :confused3
What is the ending date for this offer? I'm thinking of booking for March.

If Disney just announced the 40% off, does it seem likely that they would also come out with a free dining offer a short time later?

OK, I guess I should start by getting DH to agree in principle to a return trip :rolleyes1

do you want me to email you the email i recieved? pm me your email if you do, same for anyone else... their fone number is a couple of posts up if anyone wants to ring to be sure :):) :thumbsup2

Got it, thanks! :thanks:

I'm looking at the first couple weeks of March, but they're not offering the free meals at Davy Crockett. :headache: We're a family of 5 so our room choices are limited. Hmm, maybe I should just try for the 40% off.

Thanks again for the info! :thumbsup2

Free Meals offer is now on the Irish Disneyland Paris website!! Checked all the other European sites including the UK and they're still getting the offer of a percentage off. The Irish site seems to be the only one doing the free meals (don't know if that means we're doing better or worse than everyone else). It's not available in all the hotels on every date so you may have to be flexible with your travel dates or with your choice of hotel
