Free Magazine - Family Fun?

I received a letter from them a couple of weeks ago. Did anyone else? It said something like. . . we show that you receive our magazine but we do not show that it is paid for. If we do not hear from you by, whatever date they stated, we will cancel your subscription. Did anyone else that signed up for the free subscription from this board receive something like this? I didn't answer them and just threw the letter away.

I signed up for it from this board but haven't recieved that letter-or the mag either for that matter I would just ignore it, too.

Didn't sign up for the free family fun, but I have gotten what looks to be subscription bills from other mags that I never ordered. No come-ons to join, just looks like a regular utility type bill/statement. Bet they're counting on some people to just pay it.

I have been receiving the magazine for quite a while now and I do get it for free from a posting that someone listed here on this board. I just hope that I don't hear back from the magazine people.

That's weird. I get it free from a posting here and I never received a letter or anything.

I haven't received any notice about the mags I got through here, BUT I have been receiving notices from other magazines that I did NOT re-subscribe to. they continue to send me Discover for Kids even though we didn't re-new. I think that it is their shady way of "making" people pay for something out of guilt.

I believe that I have been getting this magazine for free for about a year now and this is the first letter that I have received from them. Hopefully I won't hear from them again. the funny thing is, if they activated the magazine they should know how come I am receiving it and they must have thought it okay. Why else would they send someone a free subscription?

I too am getting the mag free from the post here, I think I got it from Binnys thread. I dont have my mag here in front of me, but look at your address label, is there a exp date printed on it, that might give you the exact time frame when the free subscription runs out, I dont plan on renewing mine after the free time is over, but its nice while its lasting. Remember the disney store disc. cpn, in the current issue.

That's what happening with an Entertainment Weekly subsription my dh got at Suncoast. It was only supposed to be a 6 week free preview of the magazine, but we have been getting them for about 8 months now.

I signed up for both the Family Fun and the TV Guide offer and haven't heard a thing about payment. I have been getting both regularly. You didn't have to give a CC # to sign up so they have no way of collecting fees from you now. I hope it gets worked out.
