So, I was looking at Vineland Premium outlet stores and saw that they have a free shuttle from WDW Swan/Dolphin resorts. Has anyone ever done this? We're debating on renting a car or using the free bus.
Thanks all. :)

Even if it is not free, LYNX buses are very inexpensive!

Its not really about the money - more the schedule/frequency. I can't seem to find out anything about this on with the Outlet or Lynx site.

It's not Lynx, it's a shuttle bus company.

It says right there on the web page you cited:
For booking information please contact Transtar Transportation company at 407.858.3008.
Just call them for the info.

Ok, so it's a free shuttle still....sorry. Just trying to pass along some info. Good grief.

Yes, but it is not Lynx, so if you called Lynx they would tell you how to get there by taking a bus from DS to I-Drive and transferring to a 2nd bus, which would probably take well more than an hour.

I just wanted to point out that TranStar are the ones to call. And you really do need to call, because these 3rd party shuttles can have unpredictable schedules and rules.

No personal affront was intended.

this is amazing info.... I had no idea..... more shopping fun!!!! (don't tell my DH):rolleyes1:dancer::cheer2:

There is also a free shuttle from the hotels on Hotel Plaza Blvd to the Buena Vista outlet.

It's not as large a mall, but I've gotten some good deals there.

Just take the bus to disney Springs, cross the street (I usually go to the Hilton, but any hotel on Hotel Plaza will work) go inside and ask where to catch the shuttle. WCs have to folded up and stored in the back.

I called the number quoted and they don't do the shuttle anymore. They suggested I contact the front desk to see about transportation. It sounds to me like there is still free transportation but a different company. Anyway, I'm going to go there today, and I'll see what I can find out.

Ugh! I wish they would update the Outlet website with correct info. In fact, I should of called first to make sure it was still available before I posted.
I just got excited about possibly not needing a rental car to go shopping. Thanks Pampam.

I checked with the concierge at the Hilton, Hotel Plaza Blvd., LBV and she said it has been discontinued. The only free shuttle they have is to the LBV Outlet I mentioned. Pick up there is 1:15 p.m. and 3:35 p.m. Return times are until 7:00p.m. So, not as good but it is free.

On another note, I took the Lynx public transportation bus. The #50 picked us up at the bus stop in front of the Hilton, and took us to close to Sea World where we transfered to a #8 bus to the Premium Vineland Outlet. If I caught the bus going the other way, we could have gone to the Premium outlet on International Drove. It costs $2.00 cash each way. Transfers are free.

Lynx also offers a 1-day unlimited pass for $4.50; so if you really wanted to, and had the stamina, you could visit both outlet locations (and anything else along I-Drive) on the same day. You just need to tell the driver of the first bus that you want to buy a 1-day pass.
