I have already downloaded a few free books from Kindle but that's all so far.

Can you get free books from these other websites? Are there other fees? I went to one or two but couldn't really figure it out.

Pixel of Ink is a great blog that lists highly rated free and cheap Kindle books. I check it every day, because a lot of the books that are not in the public domain are free only for a very limited time, to gain publicity. So double check that the price is still $0 before you buy. I've got 70 books on my Kindle right now, and have paid for two of them. Only a couple are classics. HTH!

Yes, you can. You'll have to download them to your computer than transfer the files to your Kindle directly. If you email them to your Kindle, you will have to pay a fee for that service.

Its pretty easy to do and I have read a lot of books from Project Gutenberg on my Kindle. :)
