Hi all I have read in some of the other threads that kids go free in January to March 2007 - thats free everything! travel, park, hotels, buffallo bills etc - can anyone tell me where to find out more about this offer as I cant see anymention of it disneys website ?? - or am I just misunderstanding the whole thing?

There is a little bit of information about it here on the official website!

If you get a DLRP brochure from a travel agent, there is info in there. Or try calling one of the agents that books DLRP trips; www.leisuredirection.co.uk is one. The deal is that it is for 2 children per full paying adult and you may have to pay for flights, I'm not sure as we don't fly, but it certainly covers Eurostar.
It meant that when we went last January, we paid £280 for all of us (2 adults, 3kids including a baby) for 2nts/3 days. (Santa Fe, Eurotunnel and driving ourselves) Made it really affordable and we probably never would have gone otherwise. Now of course we are addicted LOL!

Sorry, but I think that's wrong the deal is one free child with each full paying adult or in Disney's words kids go free with the adult package. The adult package being 2 full fee paying adults. Eurostar is definately included in the offer and sometimes Air France (the preferred airline) has offers for free child places too. :)

D'ya know, you are right. However last year I'm sure it was 2 per adult. They must have changed the offer this year.

I'm sure the Thompson website/brochure says 2 children per adult for the 15th anniversary . :confused3

I meant to say we've taken advantage of the "kids go free" deal in 04 and again this year in 06, it's a superb deal especially if you time it with the "one night free" offer, check out the website for the dates of the offer, I think there's a week in Jan, Feb and March. You don't have to pay for children at Buffalo Bill's or for the Character Breakfast or Sealife.
Although for some reason apparently you're only eligible for one free CB per child per stay, we had to pay the full price for our 2nd CB this year :confused3

CaraI if you go to the website and the booking page you can go all the way through the booking without actually finalising anything, it will automatically come up with the special offers available/combinable on the dates you put in. Offhand I think the extra night offer is for arrivals from 6th - 13th March.
Hope this helps. :goodvibes

The Kids go free offer is the reason we can afford to go.
Me and my daughter are sharing a room with my friend and her son so we can avoid paying extortionate single adult supplements.

We are traveling by Eurostar staying in Sequoia Lodge Montana room for 6day/5nights (using 1 extra day and night free offer as well as kids go free offer).
It is costing £918 for all 4 of us for this including the full insurance, 1 character breakfast and Buffalo Bill. On everything I've mentioned the kids are free on so its a great offer!

We booked it direct through Disney on phone no' 08705 030303 and it was so easy they explained all the options available.

Pre-booked trips to Paris and entry to sealife centre were also available using kids go free but we decided not to book them.

This information is stunning! I''m in the midst of trying to plan a trip for our family, and I knew about the kids free (limit one--we have three--but I'll take any breaks I can get). I had *NO* idea that this also applied to Eurostar! THAT is great to know! Also Buffalo Bills...wow! The more I read on Disboards, the more I am learning (and saving!!).

Also, what's the scoop with the free night?

I'm sort of waiting to call Disney to book until after I can get all my options lined up (like where we might want to eat, etc.). And I keep feeling like I haven't learned enough yet to make an informed decision.

I have another question:

We are planning on going to the parks for a couple of days and also spending a couple days seeing Paris. I don't know that I want to spend the money for the Disneyland Hotel for the Paris days, so I'm thinking perhaps we might book room-only onsite at a different (less expensive) property. The question is: Will Disney transfer our baggage from one hotel to another if we book the entire thing with them? (We want to book Eurostar with them so we have the Disney Express service on both ends of the trip.) My kids say--amazingly--that they'd rather stay at the less expensive place first and see Paris--and then go to the DLH and spend time at the parks.

Sounds like a good plan, save the best for last! :)

In the UK latest brochure it has the dates for 1 extra night free:
4d/3n for 3d/2n
12 Nov - 19 Dec 06, 7 - 21 Jan 07 and 6 - 13 Mar 07.
5d/4n for 4d/3n and 6d/5n for 5d/4n
as above plus 15 - 20 Apr, 8 - 13 May, 13 - 19 June, 13 - 16 July, 12 - 16 Sept and 3 - 7 Oct 07.

Also on our trip both kids were free because there were 2 adults.
Yes Eurostar was also kids go free but only standard (leisure select doesn't qualify and you pay for the kids too)

Hope that helps a bit!

When I saw the title of your thread my first thought was 'who'd want free kids' :confused3 :confused3 :confused3
