They are using DHCP. The systems are different from resort to resort. SSR is slow and times out often, and the travel router does not work. OKW & BCV uses DSL and the connection is faster, also the wireless travel router works well here. The support group is now referring all "when is it free" calls to the front desk. They are now saying maybe in June?

Promises...promises. In the meantime, why can't the charge be waived so we are not stuck paying the ridiculous 9.95 for a crappy connection. We all know they have the ability to do this and members should demand a waive of the fee if nothing is done by at least May. This isn't rocket science, of course they're going to drag their feet while they collect the money.

The waive the fee plea doesn't seem to work at SSR or OKW. I tried but got nothing.

We are at OKW now and it is not free yet. Late spring early summer then free WIFI

I don't think the free internet is going to be WiFi. I suspect they will just stop charging for the existing wired internet.
