Free Internet Yet?

We'll be home for Christmas (pardon the punn!) and wonder if the free internet access has started for members yet.

Everything I read said starting in 2008. There's nothing on the member website about an official start date.

I think i read here on the dis that it was Jan. 1, 2008 the free internet service for DVC members staying on points, not cash and it has to be a DVC resort.

I used it a couple of days ago and it hasn't posted to our bill yet. Today I connected and didn't get the usual log on screen, it just connected.

Plug in the internet cable and start your web browser. That's it.

Your laptop has to have an ethernet card. If it's newer than 3 or 4 years, it should have it.

Is it DVC members who are supposed to be getting free highspeed, or is it free in all the DVC resorts to anybody, whether they're using points or cash?
