im looking to book DLH for November and wanted some info.
We are 2 adults, a 5 year old girl and a 2 year old boy.
My 2 year old boy eats like a horse and would definitely want a meal along with the rest of us each evening. What would happen if I "accidentally" clicked the wrong year on my sons date of birth making him 3 and as such entitling him to the free half board offer? Do they check passports etc on check in, we've been 4 years running but for the life of me, I can't remember !!

They have only ever asked me for 1 passport at check in but I've seen others say they have checked their kids passports for ages. It's up to you whether you want to take the risk.

I guess if I get asked for the passports and then question his age, they just don't give me the meal vouchers for my son. It's not costing anymore so I suppose the risk is minimal.

Under-3s are free at Inventions anyway and can still eat whatever off the buffet.

There is no risk. You may as well buy a room for 4 adults, and receive 4 valid adult ticket entrances and a dining plan for 4, or choose 2 adults and 2 kids 3+.

Your reservation will allow you to book a room number AND dining plans but they will NOT be connected to the guests you are bringing in: since reservations are transferable and not bound to specific names (as mandatory by French regulations), you are free to do as you please.

The only rules that you need obeying to:
  • You must not exceed occupancy of your room (one baby 3- is allowed extra, but even counting 3+ you are fine since all DLH rooms allows for 4 guests)
  • You must not use a Child park ticket for an adult (but you can use an Adult for a child)
Remember that guests 3+ must have a valid entrance ticket, so make sure your offer includes a ticket as well!

^^ Definitely DON'T book a room for 4 adults - would cost a fortune! :) But cwis is right with the rules and the sentiment behind it. 2 adults and 2x aged 3+ children (who would be free anyway as they're both under 6!!) is your best bet!
