I hope someone can help! We are taking our first trip to USO?IOA on August 21st. I bought the kodak max camera's which offer a free universal express pass with it. What are these passes good for? Do I need one for each person in my family? I am so confused. Also, how will the crowds be for the last week of August? I am visiting US, IOA, Discovery Cove & Sea World and would like to know which days to visit each place. Thank you for your help!

I am pretty sure each pass is only good for 1 person. It should say on the pass, or whatever came in the camera. All of the other passes..... are good for 1 person ONLY...... and usually for 1 ride 1 time ONLY. The express passes are very confusing........ but I'm pretty sure it is good for 1 person. However, you can purchase passes for the others in your party at the park or online at universals website. Again, these passes are good for 1 person....... i.e. 5 people you need 5 passes.

it is a bit confusing because at first I read it is "good for up to 6 people" and then when I re-read it, it said "good for up to 6 people at Universal Hollywood. DAMN!!!! Now I need to go and find 3 more Kodak cameras by next week :( LOL nina

Try Walmart and Genovese. I think I remember seeing them at Target as well.

Make sure the universal offer is right on the camera box otherwise it won't be good. I went to 4 Genovese's this morning and they all had the camera but no special offer. I decided to try Target on the Belt Parkway by Erskine Street which isn't too far from you if you're in Queens Village (I'm in Brookyn) and they had two left. One had the special offer and the other didn't. There's also a targe by the Green Acres mall you can try. I need to get two more! Good luck to you. nina:D

no a CVS in Westchester. But I would think that all CVS'S would have them. Good Luck!

Thanks, A hunting we will go.. Kind of reminds me of the "Sponge" epiosde on Seinfeld. Where Elaine had to search all the stores for the hard to find The Todays Sponge..:jester:

I tried 4 Genovese's, 2 Duane Reades, 3 Rite Aids, 1 CVS in Brooklyn, all to no avail. Target in College Point Queens doesn't have them either as well as 2 Genovese's in Queens (I called them) Pat, when are you going down to Universal? I leave on Wednesday 8/6. It does remind me of the "sponge" episode on Seinfeld! nina:)

:bounce: must find 2 more!!!:Pinkbounc

We will be there 8/16.

So far here is what I found: Where I work in the Wall Street area. A radius of 2 miles. 5 Dune Reades and 1 CVS = 0 finds.

We did find 2 in a Queens CVS.

We need 4 more. You know somebody some where is hoarding these things. Just Like Elaine was doing with the sponges...lol

We were there in April and paid for the pass tickets for IOA. It was the best thing we ever did. Then it cost $15.00 a pop. Still well worth it... Just walked right up and got on the rides. We were done aorund 12 PM for all the rides. This deal you can't beat (if you can find them). $9.99 you get a camera and the tickets...

:bounce:

UPDATE:

2 more located in CVS's in Queens. The count now stands at 4 with 2 more to go....

Elaine would be proud !

I imagine these passes are not valid if you are an annual pass holder ? Does anyone know ? There were several of these cameras here at the local Publix supermarket but I was debating on whether or not to buy them. We are a family of 4.

They must have the US pass information on the box. From what I have seen and heard you can use them with a AP. :jester:

Why would they not be valid?? AP holders don't get hotl privlege... with out some sort of express pass right???? Just wondering why you think they wouldn't be valid?

They cannot be used in conjunction with an AP.

Are there any rules with the EXPRESS ride access pass?
Yes, there are some rules with the EXPRESS ride access pass. The pass can only be used one time and it requires a full-price admission ticket purchase. The entitlements are subject to availability, subject to change without notice and are valid from 4/15/03 - 2/28/04. The entitlements cannot be combined with any other offer, they cannot be used in conjunction with any annual pass and they are not valid for separately ticketed events. The entitlements are valid for one (1) person per card at Universal Orlando® Resort and valid for six (6) people per card (but not valid for per capita sightseeing tours) at Universal Studios HollywoodTM. The pass is not valid at Universal Studios Japan or Universal Port Aventura at Universal Mediterranea. The pass is non-transferable and is for promotional purposes only; it cannot be sold, exchanged or bartered.
