Hello,
We have never sailed on the classic ships before and are trying to decide if we do a 1bd or a 4a. We have been spoiled with the dream class concierge but are not sure if there are enough benefits to make the 1bdr worthwhile on a very port intensive cruise (only 1 sea day in 7). Knowing if there are cocktail hours and free coffee helps us decide. Thank you!!

We were not given free coffee from the cove on our cruise when we stayed in the 2 bedroom on the Magic. You can get coffee delivered to your room in the morning for free, but you should tip because it is room service. (This isn't a perk for concierge, it is ship wide). There were no free drinks at all, not even during the first little concierge meet up. You do get a little buffet of foods though and also Mickey is there to meet you. That was it though. Honestly, we didn't see much value in it beyond the amazing room. But that is our opinion.

We did get arcade cards but we didn't use them. And you get a fruit plater in your room one day. You still need to pay for a case of water if you want one, that wasn't free which I was surprised to learn because I thought it might have been. We also got a special lithograph, if you like those sorts of things.

Wow! Ok so we may not bother. We LOVED it on the dream class and will be sad to miss but we really want to hit up the southern caribbean and as of now that can not be done on those ships. Sad to hear.

We travelled concierge on the Wonder on January 23rd this year. The had just started having daily receptions in the Outlook cafe. Actually twice a day. I think the hours were 4:30-5:30 and 7:30-8:30. We aren't coffee drinkers, but we could have gotten the specialty coffees for free at Outlook or Cove cafe. I think for those you use your concierge KTTW and get a bill for $0.

Will be sailing the Dream and would be great to get coffee in Cove Cafe. Guess not free alcohol in their too? Lol

Also, is there pressed coffee available? I actually drink iced coffee in he morning and on NCL Haven take the pressed coffee to my cabin in he morning and out in the fridge for he following morning.

Thanks.

Dream and Fantasy have a free coffee and tea machine in the concierge lounge so the free cover cafe coffees on the classic shops is to compensate and match the service a bit. The coffee in the CL machine is very good.

I wonder if this is now true for each cruise?? We are looking at the southern next Jan and that is a make or break for us!

They have been testing various things I hope they settle down to one service. They have had a lot of feedback on the differences with and without the lounge.
