free disney parking?

I recently read in a brochure that if you stay in disney you get free parking at the theme parks.Is this true as i've never heard this before.

Yes if you stay in a Disney resort you can drive your car back and forth to the theme parks and not have to pay parking.

It's been this way for a long time.

Wow i think that's great.We will save a fortune this trip.We were in the parks everyday fro 14 days last trip,Staying offsite it cost us a fair few dollars.

Also if you didn't know, if you are staying onsite and you are shopping in the parks, you can have your packages sent back to your resort so you don't have to carry them around all day.

That was before. There is a minimum of days at a resort that you have to stay to have that service

Yes, that is because it can take a couple of days for your package to get there. But, you can have the package sent to the front gates of the parks to pick up on your way out, that way you still don't have to carry it around all day. I'm not sure if this is available to everyone, or just onsite guests. I would think everyone...

I am pretty sure that anyone can have their stuff shipped to the front of the park. We are huge advocates of having our own car when staying on site because we hate taking the buses and it's free parking!!!

Yes, you can go to the parks and no fee. One advantage for s taying at a Disney hotel.

Of course sometimes it's convenient to drive yourself to the park if you are going to a resort for dinner afterward or something like that but be sure to give Disney transportation a try... it's kind of nice to let them do the driving and not deal with a hot car and long trek in from some parking lots.
