where is it that free dinning is normaly blocked? I know it varies but I was trying to find a place that may list the last few years and what resorts or rooms were blocked?

We were thinking of trying POFQ but then I read something that said they normaly are blocked from free dinning. Any answers would be of help. :worship:

The purpose of free dining is to fill empty rooms. If there is a resort that is typically full, they don't include it. There could also be resorts that are full for free dining for certain dates. So even if it is not in the general excluded list, it may not be available for the dates you want. There's no way to know right now what those resorts and dates are.

Here was last year's:

Free Dining for 2014 is available

The dates included are:
August 31 - October 3
October 26 - November 1
November 9 - November 20
December 12 - December 23

Disney Value Resorts ~ Quick Service Dining Plan Included This can be upgraded to regular plan for $18.65 per person per day ($3.20 for children).

Moderate, Deluxe and Deluxe Villa Resorts ~ Regular Dining Plan Included

Some resorts are excluded, such as All Star Movies, Mermaid Rooms at Art of Animation, Port Orleans French Quarter, Port Orleans Riverside, Campsites at Ft. Wilderness, and 3-bedroom villas, and Villas at The Grand Floridian.

A 3 night minimum stay (14 night maximum) and two day minimum park ticket is required for each person in the party.

An interesting twist for 2015 is CBR now has an occupancy limit of 5. So that may affect the moderate choices.

I sure hope CRB isnt added to that list. Its the only one on our could be list that isn't listed so far. I wish they would jsut release the fall winter deals and not make us wait till may.

Disney releases deals one season at a time. Right now it's the winter/early spring promotion. When the booking date for that closes, the next promotion will be for spring/early summer.

It's the most sensible, least confusing method. You cant rush the calendar.
