free dinning

I am looking for someone to explain to me if I am a DVC member and I have days left on my park tickets how can I take advantage of free dinning if they offer that in the time frame I am down there. I think I have read somewhere there is a way to do this maybe renting a camp site would then qualify you for the free dining?

you would need not only a camp site but at least one ticket from WDW.

someone say they no longer offer free dinning to campers - but find that hard to believe.

the value resorts don't cost a whole lot more than the campers.

Campsite rentals no longer qualify for free dining. To get the offer, you must purchase a package. Remember that the minimum one day/one park ticket you get with the package can be used to upgrade later to an AP. The tickets don't expire if you don't use them.---Kathy

ok thanks for the campsite thought maybe some could camp out and get free dinning, but guess not so we are going for 7 days, if I rent at say pop then I have to purchase each one of us 1 one day ticket? and then I have to rent a room for the full 7 days to get free dinning if offered?

Yes. It depends on how many people are going if it would be worth paying for a full price room.

Don't forget the "free" dining has limited rooms available for the promotion. We have checked into it a couple of times and the "free" dining rooms were sold out for our dates, but regular room were still available.
