Free Dining

I was hoping that someone out here on the boards would know the answer to this. Does the free dining offer that Disney has available base your dining on the nights your spending or how long of a ticket you have? Meaning, if I am spending 6 days there but only buy a 1 day base ticket, do I still get 6 days of free dining? TIA

Your dining is based on how many days your passes are. I have a 3day MYW pass. The dining is good for the same amount of days.

Its based on the number of nights you are staying.

My family is staying 8 nights...we have 8 TS, CS and snacks each. Our park passes are for 7 days.

Yes, i just called to make PS arrangements, and I figured I would ask. The dining attached to your room card, so it is based on how many nights you have.

Isn't the dining package attached to the MYW packages?

You have to buy a pkg to GET the dining plan- that is true. But both times (past and future one planned) we have only got 1 day tickets added to our room to have the "pkg" and then received (paid first trip, next one is free) dining plan based on nights staying. (we had tickets left over and any we bought we'd buy cheaper at ticketmania anyway- so we only got one ticket per person on the pkg)
The pkg is just the requirement but how many days on the dining plan is based on how long the stay is.

Just so I know I have this correct...I can purchase the one day base MYW ticket to get the free dining offer for the full 6 days that we will be there. The reason I ask is because I would like to upgrade to a PAP once we are there. Does anyone think there will be a problem with this? Thanks again. One of these days, I'll get the hang of this!!

Correct the MYW dining plan is based on the number of nights, not the days on your park tickets.
The reasoning is that official check in is after 4 p.m.
Check out is 11 a.m.
