If you purchase an AP you are eligible to buy TIW which gets you 20% of at a lot of restaurants. Are DVC members ever offered one of the free dining packages? We are not members, butI am considering trying to rent some points to get into WLV, but not if we would not be able to take advantage of that offer.
Unless you are a DVC member pre 4/2016 restrictions. We'd have to buy an AP to get TIW? Didn't know that![]()

Oh sorry I thought you were the OPWe have been members for about 8 years.
Oh no, since your a DVC member pre 4/2016 you qualify. We are post 4/2016 resale owners so we are buying AP platinum and then buying TIW, but only because we have 2 trips planned under a year.No problem! W were planning on getting TIW next week- do we now need and AP for that?
Do you have any confirmation on the post-4/4 members being disqualified for TiW? I really doubt they're going to enforce any sort of restriction on that. Don't you have to have a member card to buy the TIW if you aren't an AP holder? If so then members after the April change won't be able to buy it.
I'd rather not alert them to the difference. You could call TIW and see if they take the White ID card.
