Free Dining

That's aw
No. South America has the same deals as the US. This has been a trusted source for years.
thats awesome! I had no idea...thanks for sharing and I hope it works out in my favor as it seems to be....

no since it's pop warner week they do not offer free dining. and group travel can not take part in promos
Not sure what you mean, Pop Warner is scheduled for December 5 - 12 this year. It's always in December, I don't think it's ever been in early to mid November. Disney has offered Free Dining the second and third weeks of November since 2009, so if it's offered again in November this year, their dates should be included.

o.k., so it's not an advantage to have two shots at the room you want rather than one?:confused3

Dan
I'm sorry, I'm not totally sure what you mean?

I typed that response so people would know that even if a room category or resort "sells out" under the DV FD promo, they will most likely still have a shot at the room/resort when the GP FD deals are released a few days later. We have booked Free Dining every year since 2005 and have had a Disney Visa for at least 8 years, and the only upside or advantage I ever see of having the Disney Visa offer first is that I can make/modify my reservation fairly quickly as opposed to General Public release day when the the website WILL crash and phone waits WILL be 2 or 3 hours.

The ONLY time I ever remember getting an offer through Disney Visa, that the general public didn't get was in the late fall/early winter of 2008. They offered a Free Dining offer for that time frame for DV holders and it never went public. Up until that point, FD was only offered in late summer/early fall of 2005 - 2008. The first time the General Public could book late October - December dates was 2009. So, we keep the Disney Visa, just in case . . . . but, really, the general public won't have any issues getting the same exact deal, usually three days later.

Thanks so much for the quick reply! Sounds like our dates will be included!!!

The second and third weeks of November are always included, unless Thanksgiving falls early, then it's the second and fourth weeks. Shouldn't be a problem this year though.

I will be very curious to see if the FD offer really starts on August 15. They haven't started that early in a number of years and the end of August has gotten pretty busy . . .

I meant jersey week

people need to stop counting on free dining because I see it going away with all the new stuff on the way to the parks

where did you see it? if thats true it will be released to visa card memebers first and they do that at least a few days before they release to the general public so we could catch wind of that soon if that post is true.

Several websites are posting it, but Chip & Co has been sharing this 'rumor' daily over the last few days.

Doubtful. Disney's shares have been dropping as has their attendance due to closures and price increases. If they need to fill rooms, they will offer free dining and room discounts to do so. Disney does not do the discounts to be nice as we know, they do it to fill rooms. What they give away in over-priced food pales in comparison to what it costs a family to visit. Disney gives nothing for free.

As someone who doesn't buy into "free" dining, I am always happy to see our trip dates EXCLUDED. Can't wait for this promotion to go live so I can maybe get some more ideal ADR times!

Where did you get that? Evening I've seen says park attendance and shares are UP since last year.
