Any word on free dining for fall 2014??

Haven't seen or heard anything yet, but usually don't hear till June or so for the Fall. I'm watching a couple posts watching and waiting for any announcements.

Does anyone know if you book your resort (Art of Animation) online from hotels.com, could u still qualify for Free Dining later, after it comes out? My thoughts were that the entire thing must be purchased as a package deal - tickets and room together.

A lot of times, if you book through a non-Disney website you have to go through that website again to make changes and it can be a pain depending on their policies. Disney will tell you they can't help. And I don't know that free dining is ever offered through those sites, you may have to go through Disney directly.

you have to book a package directly with Disney to get FD.

We have a Disney Travel Agent (independent) and she is able to book those deals for us when they appear.

yes, but she books directly through Disney. Travel agents can get you the discount as long as they book it through Disney. The main point would be if you go through a different travel company (i.e. southwest vacations, cheaptickets) the discount would not be available.
