I was reading a previous post that said you had to book a three night stay to receive free dining but when I go to Disney's website it says 6 nights. When did this change?

It is 3 nights with a 2 day ticket, minimum. The 6 day example on Disney's site is just that - an example they use.

If you look closely, it says to inquire about other length stays (or something along those lines.) Testing on the site itself, under the current promotion, if you try to do 2 nights, it won't let you (the check-out date will revert to 6 nights), but if you do 3 nights, it will stick.

It's tricky for sure and much more subtle than they've done in the past (though, I'm sure somewhere it lists the actual requirements, though I couldn't find it in a pretty quick search on the site).

Yep, the minimum is actually a 3 night stay with 2 days of tickets - we're booked for a 3 night stay this fall and got the free dining. I think they advertise it as 6 nights with the hopes that you'll do 6 nights and spend more. Funny thing is, I had called AAA to get a price quote for comparison and the agent told me it was a 6 night minimum. I had to explain the rules to her. :)

For anything but the offer for residents of Great Britain, minimum 3 night stay, maximum 14 night stay, at least 2 day park ticket purchase required. Anything else you see is just an example.

The British offer can go up to a 21 night stay.
