Free dining ?

I know if you book your trip using the end date of Free dining your whole trip has free dining.
For instance if free dining ends on Sept 28th and your trip starts Sept 28th to Oct 8th, you get free food from the 28th to the 8th.


My question is does that work in reverse

Say free dining starts August 25th and your trip is from Aug 18th to the 28th. Do you get free dining the 18th to the 28th OR just the 25th to the 28th

No, it doesn't work that way. You can go past the cut off date as long as you check in by the last day. But you can't go prior to the start date.

Thank you, I thought so but wasn't so sure.

I already have my trip planned but I have a strong feeling I might have to change the dates. I figured I might as well look into everything now while I have nothing to do.

And just so you know, you can't apply the promotion in the middle of a reservation - you'd have to make 2 separate reservations, one for the 18th-24th and one from the 25th-28th. Both would require separate deposits and the "free dining" package requires a 2-day ticket purchase, so you'd likely be buying 2 sets of tickets which rarely makes for a good deal.

I kind of figured that too.

I won't know till Wednesday if I have to switch dates. My son goes to Catholic school at the moment. They don't mind you staying out up to 15 days during the school season (he will miss 10 for our trip). We are thinking about switching him to the public middle school in town, because he is getting bullied. The public middle school has MUCH to say about your kids missing school.

I figured if I went to the Board of Education explained that our trip was planned and paid off before we decided to switch him; they might let us slide this year. He's an honor student so they might let it go to boost their school score LOL

I can cancel Disney but I bought Halloween Party tickets for 2 nights for 3 people, 2 day passes to Legoland, Kennedy Space Center tickets and my airline tickets.
