Free Dining

Hello,

I am new to the discussion board. My wife and I are DVC members and we are going to Disney 10/28-11/2. We are staying at Saratoga Springs, is there any way to get free dining or discounted park tickets? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Free dining will be over by then. It runs from late August through September 20.

As DVC members you are eligible for discounted Annual Passes I believe. That's a savings of $100 each ticket. Free dining promo ends on Sept. 20.

As DVC members you do get a nice savings on the APs. Free Dining will be over when you go but if you are staying on points you can add the DDP.

If you're staying on points, no, you can't get the free dining. That's a promotion that Disney uses to fill resort rooms during the slower fall season. You'd need to purchase a package including a rack rate resort reservation and tickets to get free dining. Whoops, and I didn't notice your dates. Free dining is only offered in August and September.

As a member, you can purchase the dining plan at its regular price, just contact Member Services to add it to your reservation.

The only ticket discount we get is $100 off annual passes. You can get those through the member site, or buy them when you get to WDW.

As other posters have stated, you can not get free dining if you are staying on points. Free dining requires a full price hotel reservation through Disney Travel/CRO. It is a promotion to fill up full priced rooms during a traditionally slower time at WDW.

The only park media that is discounted for DVC is the Annual Passes, everything else is regular price. There are also discounts for Disney Quest, Pleasure Island and the water parks.

you can't get free dinning unless you buy a package from Disney.

you can get an annual pass and then get the DDE - disney dinning experience to help save money if you are eating out alot.
