free dining?

Hi, I'm new here and I have a question. There is just so much info here on reservations, hopper passes, dining tips wow talk about confused! I know you are all pro's and that's a good thing for me. Someone mentioned that WDW sometimes offers free dining packages in September. Does anyone know anything about this. I'm planning on (hopefully being able to rent some points for OKW in for our trip in September and was wondering if that is also offered if I rent points?

The free dining is only offered to those who are on a package through central reservations. Renting points does not qualify for free dining . Sorry.

Which is really too bad... I'd love some free dining with my DVC stay.

Hmm... that would be a great perk... buy DVC and free DDP on your stays.

It would be nice, but there is no reason for Disney to offer it to DVCers. The purpose of free dining is to fill up hotel rooms at full rack rate prices during a normally slow travel season.
