Moderate - $139 per night, plus the cost of admission
Value - $79 per night, plus the cost of admission

Aren't those prices for "value" season? They should be much higher in August :confused3

Next year value season starts earlier than it has in the past. I believe is begins August 5, 2007.

Don't forget to add the cost of park passes to your total. You can't book free dining without tickets.

You can play around with dates, resorts, and type of tickets on disney's offical site. That's what I did to get an idea of what our trip will cost if you free dining is offered again next summer.

Value/Moderate Price Resort For August is follows:

$1556.34 US all taxes included (That includes room for a week and admission to the park for 8 days) :wizard:

Moderate Price Resort

$2049.70 US all taxes included (That includes room for a week and admission to the park for 8 days) pirate:

So that is the price without the dinning package (which is the same price as free dinning :cool1: )

If you need more information send me a private message...I know a good company that will help you book everything and then when discounts come up (such as free dining then they will apply them to your reservation so you get the best price).

This is difficult to answer without knowing number of park tickets you require. For the sake of your question, I've given everyone 7 day base tickets.

Value season does indeed begin on August 5th for 2007.

Remember prices include tax, are in US funds and are priced without dining (as would be the sitch if the free dining becomes available)

Disney's Pop Century Resort (or any Value Level Resort)
Standard View Room
2 adults, 2 children (ages 12 and 14)
• (4) 7-Day Magic Your Way Base Tickets, includes 7 days of admission to the four major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
• Round trip transfers to and from the Orlando Airport
$ 1,587.82 USD

Disney's Port Orleans Riverside Resort (or any Moderate Level Resort)
Standard View Room
2 adults, 2 children (ages 12 and 14)
• (4) 7-Day Magic Your Way Base Tickets, includes 7 days of admission to the four major theme parks (Magic Kingdom, Epcot, MGM Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom)
• Round trip transfers to and from the Orlando Airport
$ 2.041.18 USD

Personally, I hope Disney offers the free dining to us as soon as their offer to the UK expires. That would make my life easy in that I could plan ahead now for 2007! :thumbsup2

Also when you are ready to book look into CAA....the room portion of the package is discounted. Not a member? Sometimes the savings is enough to warrant the purchase of a membership.

You can't get a room discount and free dining. It has to be one or the other.

We have already booked for next August. We only have 2 adult + 1 Jr. so the price is bit off. Priced at the value resort with only 1 day base tix for all of us. We are paying for DDP (hope for the free DDP so we could adjust later; if not, we don't have to do anything)

w/OOP-DDP
5 nts = $1265 +
6 nts = $1475 + (for every extra nights of stay, it is about $210 more)
7 nts = $1684 +

Free DDP
5 nts = $680.83
6 nts = $773.49 ($92.66 more for every extra nights) :teacher:

We shall wait patiently. :teeth:
