Free Dining WWYD?

Hello! We have been planning to visit disney world in November for a while now. We had been counting on free dining and now that its pretty official that it will be offered during our stay we've been looking at the options. Originally we were looking at Wilderness lodge with the free dining plan but today I was pricing it out and it would be about $300 less to book a room at all star movies prefered room and upgrade to the deluxe dining plan. We will be there for 8 nights/9 days. Which would you choose WL or ASMo and why?

I was in the same situation and for us the value makes more sense. We spend very little time in the room and I'd rather buy PhotoPass+ and pay for the tips with my $300 savings.

My choice would be the WL. We have never stayed at any of the values, but we love the deluxe resorts and the extra amenities they offer. Plus the WL is a beautiful resort in close proximity to MK as well as to the monorail resorts for a variety of dining and shopping options. The extra $300 would be worth it to us for a deluxe resort.

I would choose WL and upgrade to DXDP, reason why is because out of all our stays WL is our favorite and that includes over the Poly. Just depends upon DXDP how you're expecting to dine, are you going to do some that take 2 TS credits or even a lot of TS restaurants if not then stick with the reg dining plan. If so then upgrade to deluxe.

Go with a Moderate and stay with the regular dinning plan.

We would definitely do WL with the regular dining, but that is our favorite combination anyway. We find the one table service a day works well for us, and WL is an awesome place to stay. We aren't really into the higher end dining options, so we rarely do a two TS credit meal. Enjoy the beautiful resort and that perfect location on Bay Lake.

I forgot to mention location is great as well at WL especially for MK as you can take the bus and be there fast or take a relaxing boat ride to MK, Contemporaty or FW.
