Has anyone booked Saratoga Springs?

I am here in Cali - so I dilligently set my alarm to go off at 3:55am this morning AND slept right through it! I figured I would be out of luck but called as soon as I got in to work at 7:25am PST (was only on hold for less than 10 minutes) and GOT FREE DINING!!!!! :cool1:  :woohoo:

This is our honeymoon and while we had budgeted to factor out getting free dining this just totally made my day!!!

We are staying:

Sept 6th - 14th (8 nights)
Wildnerness Lodge - Courtyard View
2 adults
9 day park hopper
Free Dining

Total before Free Dining $3789.92

Total Savings $741.41!!!

Is it September yet?!?! :bored:

we're booked and ready to go. i waited till 10 to call and got right through and had a great cm. we're at AS MU 9/13 - 9/18 w/ FD. i didnt need a code. we have 6 day myw w/ hopper and FD for 2 AD 1 CH for $1265.50. you cant beat that for disney.

Got it - September 19th - September 23rd Port Orleans Riverside. The CM did first tell me that she couldn't extend the free dining dates. I (VERY NICELY) told her I was a member of the Disboards and had seen other people posting that their CM let them. She put me on hold for a minute and came back and said that wouldn't be a problem. Just thought I'd mention that in case anyone else experienced that, too!

I called around 9:20 EST and was only on hold for about 15 minutes. I was prepared for so much longer. I booked 2 rooms (3 Adults/2 kids - my 2 yr old is free!) 9/18 - 9/25 at Pop Century. My family did 6 day Base Park tickets and my SIL and niece did 7 days for a total of $2385.05 + Free Dining, of course. My CM, Norman, could not have been nicer! He said they were soooo busy this morning. I was so excited at the end of the call that I forgot to take the survey! :rotfl:

I have not been to Disney since 2002, so I am beyond excited. :yay: My boys have never been, so this is going to be a great trip!

The only bummer was that we could not get Hoop dee Doo reservations on the 18th.

Any one get CSR? We have it on bounceback, but we have friends who are also booked at CSR to celebrate with us, and we are hoping they can get the free dining too.

I'm here...in the midwest and hope I can do this quick and get back to bed before my kids are up and ready to go for the day!

We're currently booked at POP w/ 40% off, and are just trying to add free dining. we'll go no matter what, though!!

Disney will not going to let you have the 40% off plus free dining. It either 40% off or free dining . Of course you might get lucky & the CM is so frazzled with calls that she/he will not see that you got 40% as well. Good luck. Not trying to burst your bubble. It depends on what work out cheaper for you. In some cases it better with the code and sometimes with free dining :)

There have been some posts that people were able to get free dining at CSR.

Got the Poly 8/24-9/31, 2 adults, 16 yr & 11 yr olds, 4 park hoppers with water park option and insurance $4123.00!

Whew! I couldn't decide between the WL bunk beds or the Poly for $275.00 more. So I went with the Poly! I was thinking for only $275 it was worth it!

I was on hold for 55 minutes at 8am this morning. I'm still stressed!

It can't go through with both no matter how frazzled the CM is, but FD is a better discount than 40% off with a Value resort. Assuming there is at least 2 people in the room.

Forgot to ask this:

If we decide to do the Deluxe Dining, can we still add that on? And, do you think it is worth it since we are getting free regular dining??

The CM told me that I can upgrade to DxDDP until 6/22, which is when the booking window for this promo closes.

Two rooms - 8/28 - 8/31 - All Star Movies - (ASMusic was not available for our dates!:confused3 )

$472.20 (one adult, one child 14)
$460.48 (one adult, one child 9)

Our very own land and sea package, since we'll be getting off the Wonder on August 28!!:cool1:

I knew that but I thought I wouldn't sound so negative to the poster :)

the computer running slow was the biggest problem

Yipee!!!! I just called my TA (who's also my SIL) told her the scoop (cuz' The Dis is all knowing) and she called me back in 59 min. to tell me we're all set with free dining (I'm so excitied I'm typing too fast and spelled it "free dinging" the first time) :yay:

Good luck to everyone - I'm still surprised I haven't gotten an e-mail from Disney Visa with the free dining announcement ...anyone get one yet?
