Free Dining Watch 2009 - Dates Released!! Update post 1

sorry guys I know that this has been asked before but I scrolled through tons of pages searching for the answer and couldnt find it.

I am a season pass holder so I purchased just the one day ticket per person requirement. I know the rules state that the tickets have to be used within 14 days of first use (if you have additional days), but does anyone know if the one day tickets I purchased expire?

How soon should I expect my confirmation email? I already had a reservation, but the CM said she would send an email stating we added free dining. I called at 7 and I am freaking because I dont have an email yet and its not showing up when I log onto my vacation on the website.

Emails could take up to 24 hours

How do you check a ressie online?

If you go to Disney.com - where you can book your trip, there is a place on the left side that says "log in or register" If you register, you can check by going to the other side that says "My Vacation" You will need the same email that you gave them when you booked your trip.

I think you can go straight to "My Vacation" and register there too.

So excited! Booked Pop, Oct 3-17, for my mom and I. I've been fortunate enough to take advantage of FD for the past 2 years, but this will be my mom's first year.

Congratulations to everyone who booked FD! Now we have to decide which restaurants....

How has the wait been?

I could not post first thing this am after I got through, I had to head to work. I got through right away, no wait at all. The CM "said" I was the first though and minutes later I saw people posting that the wait time was at 30 mins.

We got Pop, standard room Aug 16-23 - our first choice!

I hope that everyone else who has called/is calling do not have long waits and get just what they are hoping for.

Just reading though what everyone booked, POP seems to be the most booked. Also how big is POP b/c it looks like everyone will be there

My travel agent sent me an email at 7:30 a.m. CST letting me know she just made my ressie for us at POP w/FD 9/16-9/20. Since there are lots of ressies being made today, it may be awhile before we get our email confirmations, so be patient

Question: Are the value resorts and the two deluxe villa's listed on the Disney Rewards Visa site the only options for FD?

I can't believe how exciting this is!!!! We have gone to Disney for years, and I had never even heard of Free Dining, until I came on here.

This will be our first trip with FD. I am so thankful for all the help and info you all have shared.

We will be at ASMusic. Sept. 10-20. I was able to get FD with the Family Suite, which was a huge blessing since I have 4 kids.

I got my confirmation e-mail too.

I can't wait to make ADRs!!!

Our TA was able to get my reservations changed from the 40% military discount, to FD!!! She added a day for us and we're still saving $300!! I'm so excited!! What a great trip this is going to be!! We'll be celebrating our 25th anniversary!! Going for 14 nights!! Getting military ticket savings!! Going to MNSSHP!!! AND eating for FREE!!! I don't know if it can get any better!!!

Just reading though what everyone booked, POP seems to be the most booked. Also how big is POP b/c it looks like everyone will be there

A lot of people like POP because:

1. It's newer
2. It has cool pools . . . A huge flower and a Heated Bowling Pin
3. It has it's own bus

I'm sure there are a lot more reasons from other people, but that's my thoughts.

I stayed there last time. It was a little too busy for me. I also think some of it is kinda cheesy, but that is just my opinion. I would stay there again, but I am going back to All Star Sports this year.

Pop is a good price, doesn't share buses, and is just plain fun!
We have not stayed at the All Stars, and was willing to this time if I couldn't get Pop, but we've been at Pop twice now, and was relieved to get it again, because my kids are really excited to go back.

It's all of the resorts, depending on availability. I wish they wouldn't advertise it the way they do, because it makes it sound like that's all you can do "5 nights 6 days at a value resort or SSR."

If there is something different you are interested in, give them a call!
