Free Dining vs./ 40% question

I booked a grand gathering with 3 different rooms using my 40% code. Since technically each one of those rooms is it's own reservation when free dinning comes out can I change the promotion on just one of the rooms to free dining and still keep the 40% on the other two. I was doing the math today and the free-dining promotion would be cheaper on the room with my family of 4 then the 40% but not on the others because they only have 2 people per room. Anybody out there had a similar issue?

I am thinking that if they are all in your name and you made the ressie, no you can't.But call and ask.

Of course you can. Theyre all separate reservations.

Thanks guys, when the free dinning comes out I will call and keep my fingers crossed. The more money on save on my reservations the more money I get for spending money. (^:

You definitely can! On our trip in November, we had a Grand Gathering, 3 separate rooms. The free dining code with my Disney Visa was a greater savings for my family of 5, so we used that code. The 40% off code was a better deal for the other 2 rooms, and they used it. Good luck!

Woo-Hoo!!! Thank you so much. Now I just have to wait for that free dining. I just hope it is still for the regular dining plan this year not just the QS. Either way we are going to disney, waiting 8 months is going to be hard.
