Free Dining Upgrade to Premium - Possible?

The title says it all.
I know QSDP and DDP can both be upgraded to Regular or Deluxe, but, can a free dining deal be upgraded to Premium?

I don't think so. We tried to do that for our honeymoon but were told that the highest tier we could book with free dining was deluxe. That was a few years ago so maybe things have changed since then. We ended up going with premium anyway and had a lot of fun with all of the "extras" included.

No. The premium package plan is not a Disney dining plan. It's a totally different program. So you cannot upgrade a free Disney dining plan to a premium or platinum package plan.
