Free Dining - Upgrade to moderate?

I have reservations for 2 rooms at All-Star sports for Dec 17-22 for DH and I and our 3 adult children (19-21) - we paid to upgrade to the DDP instead of the QSDP. We're considering upgrading to a Moderate, it won't cost us much to upgrade, with the difference in the dining plan cost.

Here's my question, there is nothing available now, do you think that around the final payment date, either of the moderates will open up? Will they allow me to upgrade at that point and keep the free dining?

Just keep checking a couple of times a day online. Every once in awhile I see a room open up for our september stay at the 2 moderates included in free dining.

Keep checking like OP said. I have also seen some open. Especially call and ask before you pay the balance or right around that 45 day mark as people would have to cancel by then to get their deposit back.

Yep, I'm check twice a day, but I want a basic room, and the only open now are pirate rooms, or suites. I'll keep checking and call back when I pay my final deposit and double check then also.

I may be wrong, but I thought the FD was "book by Aug 3"...I don't know if you will be able to get it if you book it in Oct when you get ti the 45 PIF days...maybe since you are already booked with the QS upgraded you can, but I would seriously call and ask instead of being disappointed come Oct.

I'm hoping I can upgrade the hotel, since I already have a reservation. They'll get more of my money if they allow an upgrade. I already have the "regular dining". I paid for the upgrade. If not, I'll stay at AS sport

Now that the offer is expired you can't, but when it's available you can go,through the special offers page and check availability using the offer.
