Free Dining/Ticket Question

Our family is planning to spend a few nights at Disney following our Disney Cruise Thanksgiving week. With free dining being released 11/26-11/28, we might like to take advantage of this offer. I would like to book our family of 5 for three nights and the required 2 day tickets, with my DH and DS needing to return home after only 2 nights. Once there and tickets have been used, can I add a day onto the ticket for just myself and my two DDs, or would I have to add a day onto all 5 tickets?

Secondly, we will also be arriving at WDW on 11/25. Is there any way to keep our same room without having to physically check in/check out on 11/26 to take advantage of the promo, or would we need to physically check in at the resort?

You can add an extra day to some of the tickets once you arrive. You just won't be able to book FP's for that extra day until you have it added.

If you have a split stay at the same resort, they will try to keep you in the same room, but won't guarantee it. We have always been successful with that. Just make sure you put a note with both reservations.
