Free Dining the same system as Dining Plan?

With the Free Dining that has been announced today is it based on the same system as the existing Dining Plan? In other words is it the same restaurants and credit system? Surely it isn't unlimted meals at ANY restuarant is it? Perhaps someone who was on the Free Dining plan last year can let us know. Thanks!

Free dining = free dining plan. Each member of your party will recieve the 1 CS credit 1 TS credit and 1 snack credit per day of your stay for free by getting a package (rack room rates + tickets)!
