Free Dining- switching dates?

I am scheduled Sept 2-9 with a free dining package at POR.

If I change our arrival date to Sept 5 and push back our departure until the 13th, will I still get to keep my free dining because I would only be altering my package rather than cancelling it and re-booking?

Or am I just completely out of luck?

If Sep 5, the date you check in, falls within the free dining offer dates, you will still get free dining.

Adding in that they'd also have to have FD rooms available during your new dates.
