Free Dining Split Stay Question

We would like to stay one week at Disney, then tranfer to Universal for a second week. If we wanted to - for some reason like not being able to get reservations on our Disney days - would we be able to use unused dining credits during the second week of our trip, while staying at Universal, or do they expire when you check out? Even if we were not to visit Disney parks during our second week, could we use the credits at Disney Resorts, even if we have checked out of our Disney resort days before?

All dining credits expire at 11:59pm on your checkout day.

dining credits expire at end of day of the day of checkout so you would not be able to come back and use them that second week.
