Free Dining Sept 27 - Dec 17 Disney Visa cardholders

Disney has announced that Free Dining is now available from September 27th through December 17th for Disney Visa Cardholders.

This Free Dining Promotion differs slightly from the discount that is scheduled to end on July 26th. Under the newest promotion guests staying at Value Resorts will receive the Quick Service Dining Plan free with packages three nights or longer. Guests staying at Moderates, Deluxe and Deluxe Villas will receive the Basic Dining Plan with their package.

If a guest would like to upgrade to the next level of Dining Plan, they will have the option to pay the difference in order to upgrade.

We're expecting this promotion to be made available to all guests in the coming days, so be on the lookout for updated news!

Terms & Conditions: Valid for stays most nights 9/27/09 – 12/17/09. This discount must be booked by 12/17/09. This must be paid in full using the Disney Visa. All discounts are subject to availability, certain restrictions apply.

really not fair - seems we DVCer's keep losing out on the dining -

I'll be there in October - luckily I already have my ADRs

I don't like the fact that the free dining plan is different based on the resort you are staying at. Don't really think that's fair.

The disney visa offers leave out us Canadians as we can't get the Disney Visa which stinks too.

You are coming in December for DAP? Awesome.

I think you have until July 26th to book with Disney Visa code. After that it will be available to the general public.

July 26 is the last day to book Free Dining for stays through Oct. 3. The latest Free Dining offer for stays through Dec. 17 has to be booked by Sept. 26.

As another DVC member, I am not upset one bit by free dining other than the offhand chance it affects getting my ADRs. Other than that, I'm pretty happy that I've got my hotel rate obscenely low for the type of accommodations I get, plus the DVC annual pass discount makes me very happy. It would more than make up paying full rack rate to get "free" dining.

But that's just me.

I booked free dining today. Even thought I am a DVC member I don't mind saving the weekend points and getting free dining. I am going to probably bank the points for a nice long stay in the Treehouse Villas.

Ah, next door neighbor, we think alike on this. Free dining at rack rate or DVC, for me it's a no brainer. Love my DVC.

I'm not doing the dining plan, but I have no problem with Disney giving people who pay more for their hotel a better dining package. That's their way of encouraging people to upgrade from a value to a moderate. The people who are staying in moderates and were overlooked by the Value to SSR/OKW free upgrade in September are probably cheering about this change to the latest free dining promotion.

LOL.... excellent question, Nancy. We bring our dog with us, and our RV is comparable in size to most Disney rooms... plus, I know who slept on my really really nice sheets last, and no complaints about mousekeeping .... our coffee's exactly what we expect, there's a fully stocked fridge, and no noisy neighbors upstairs for starters....lol....

Plus, there's that whole "incredible decorations in the campground" thing happening...... way cool!!
