There are discussions here from many who dislike free dining but for us it sure saved us a bunch. We could not have afforded to go for 8 days without it.
Eight different 1TS restaurants averaged about $135 each for the three of us. QS restaurants averaged about $45. Snacks totaled about $11 a day for a total of $191 a day. We stayed at POP and the best deal without free dining would have saved only $50 a day on room cost. Theres no way we could have eaten even all QS for that. For all the bad free dining may cause some we love it and would not have been able to go otherwise. Thanks Disney for a great trip!!
Now if Disney can just do something about the insanely humid sticky weather!
